In grade 4, my piano teacher frequently ridiculed my floppy hands by shoving me using her fingers and calling me "the most stupid student of all." I resisted by asserting that, "you can say that I'm a slow learner, but you should not deny my endeavors or insult me." After class, other girls in the class told me that they were astonished witnessing this revolutionary moment. They never had a chance to rebel against the teacher, who represents high authority, and say that their esteems are also hurt by the teachers' insults. With each others' support, more girls choose to resist facing ridicule, and the teacher becomes much more careful with his language. This is my first rebel against unjust authority.

I can relate. My guitar teacher does this pretty often too. But, ya! I'm amazed by your courage, superstar.
